The North Shore Virtual Visitor Center is maintained by Sugarloaf: The North Shore Stewardship Association. This project was funded in part by the Coastal Zone Management Act, by NOAA's Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management, in conjunction with Minnesota's Lake Superior Coastal Program.

Sugarloaf's mission

To inspire the preservation and restoration of the North Shore’s unique environment through education and exemplary stewardship, especially at Sugarloaf Cove. As part of this mission, Sugarloaf operates Sugarloaf Cove, a nature center located near Schroeder, MN and provides reforestation assistance to private landowners along the North Shore.

Sugarloaf is a membership supported organization. Your donations make it possible for us to continue restoring the North Shore and providing quality nature programming at the Cove.
